STAMPLESS OFFICIAL SHARIA COURT cover from Beer Sheva that travelled via Beer Sheva-RAFA railway line to RAFA Oct. 23, 1930, and then via KNATARA--HAIFA TPO NORTH, Oct. 25, 1920 to Jaffa to the Sharia Quadhi Pasha. The only known civilian cover mailed on the BEER SHEVA--RAFA railway line. Only three covers exist with the RAGA postmark exist. Photo. Estimated Value $250

PICTURE POSTCARD from France to BEIT ESHEL postmarked October 19, 1947. Re-directed to Tel Aviv, because toward the end of 1947, it became to dangerous for Jews to enter Beersheba, and had all their mail forwarded to PO Box 560, Tel Aviv. At the beginning of 1948 all women and children were sent north to Kfar Vitkin and all normal post mail service to Beit Eshel was stopped and all mail travelled in both directions only occasionally when carried by patrols or piper airplane!
